But, like so many of us, life got in the way to the point of becoming overweight and very unfit. When the time came that he was on his very last belt hole, and on the verge of having to buy YET ANOTHER size larger pants, he had enough. At this time he discovered Insanity® 60 Day Total Body Conditioning Home Workout program at it transformed not only his body but, his life. After losing over 50 pounds and getting in the absolutely best shape of his life, he is now dedicated to helping others regain control of their health and body. He is now an Independent Team BeachBody Coach, a Certified Insanity®, and Certified LesMills BodyCombat® Instructor. Come and experience one of his high energy classes today!
Email any questions or comments to John here. Theresa CiavarellaTheresa found hoop dance four years ago. Since then she has become passionate about this fun and expressive form of dance. As a full time honors student at Penn State she used hooping to relieve stress and to stay in shape. Hoop dance has changed her life in many ways helping her to become a more positive, happy and energetic person. Theresa is one of the most skilled hoopers in western Pennsylvania specializing in double hooping, minis and poi moves. After seeing children's faces light up while watching her hoop, Theresa was inspired to take a teaching kids to hoop training course. Now, determined to share her love of hooping, she became certified as a hoop dance fitness instructor by Hoopnotica, one of the leading Hoop Dance Instructor training companies in the country.
All ages, levels of fitness and body types can learn to hoop. All it takes is an open mind and a positive attitude!
Hooping burns 400 to 600 calories per hour, takes inches off your waist and is a great low impact cardiovascular exercise. Hoop Dance tones your core, legs and arms, enhances balance, coordination and relieves stress. There are emotional benefits to hoop dance as well: hooping improves self confidence, elevates mood and fosters creativity and self expression. It's fun and feels good!
